• Troop Projects
  • Scouting For Food
    Troop 59 participates in the Scouting For Food program. In the Clifton Springs area, Troop 59 works with Cub Scout Pack 69, to collect food from houses in both the village and the surrounding area. On the first Saturday of November we distribute cards to inform how the pick up will work and on the 2nd Saturday of November we go back and pick up the food. All food that we gather is given to the St. Felix Food Cupboard in Clifton Springs.
  
  
  • Pearl Street Cemetery Spring Clean Up
    In the spring, Troop 59 will go through and do a spring cleaning of the Pearl Street Cemetery in Clifton Springs. This usually entails raking and picking up fallen tree branches.
  
  
  • Tarp Rentals
    Troop 59 rents several tarps when we are not using them but we will also donate them to various non-profits and community organizations, like Relay For Life.
  
  
  • Downtown Fall Festival
    Usually held on the Friday before Halloween, the Downtown Fall Festival is a great opportunity for scouts to enjoy the Halloween season. During the Fall Festival, Troop 59 usually sets up our marshmallow shooting range where kids can shoot an air powered marshmallow cannon at targets and we give out various prizes.
  
  
  • Christmas Cards for VA Residents
    Troop 59 will make cards at Christmas time to be distributed to residents of the VA Hospital in Canandaigua, NY
